The Vanuatu Tennis Federation (VTF) Independence Championship last Saturday was a success as the grand finalists battled on court after a week of round robin competitions at the Korman Tennis court.

The competitions were interesting, they included gender equality competition where players get mixed up in competitions.

Last Saturday saw the grand finals for the Open Mixed Double, U14 Doubles, U12 singles and Doubles, Open Category, U14 Singles, and the U18/U16 Gender equality.

The VTF acknowledged all participants competing in this year’s Independence KO with everyone enjoying a great time.

The VTF will resume its normal programs and activities after a very busy week assisting with the ESSA and SEPSSA game competitions, followed by the Independence KO championships which ended last weekend.
