The biggest fundraising event of the Port Vila Rotary Club is on tomorrow at the Port Vila Golf Club.
The annual 3 player Ambrose Golf Day starts at noon sharp with a gunshot and is keenly contested by experienced and once a year golfers. Last year’s event raised half a million vatu all of which was donated to the Vanuatu Society for the Disabled.
The Port Vila Rotary club is very proud of its ability to distribute funds directly to needy causes with no administrative costs. The Rotary 3 person Ambrose Golf Day is made possible by the generous sponsors who donate Vt40,000 for every one of the 18 holes on the beautiful Port Vila Golf & Country Club which is offering a free membership to everyone taking part in the Rotary Golf day, new members will only have to pay the annual subscription fee.
Entries are being taken until noon today lbernier@ck.com.vu. After the golf tournament a special prize-giving event will be held in the beautiful Port Vila Golf & Country Club.
Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun and purchase raffle tickets with some huge prizes including a return flight and accommodation at New Caledonia compliments of Air Cailin, Dinner for two at Kerson’s Loookout Thai Buffet, a cooking class at Francesca’s, Vt5000 treatment at Body and Soul or a beautiful magnum of champagne from Vila Distribution.
