The Port Vila Rodeo 2-day event was a success at the Bellevue Rodeo Park last weekend as crowds gathered together for another day of exciting bull actions.

A parade took place from the Saralana park to the Bellevue rodeo park.

The day also featured stock man ability challenge, bending race, flag raise, barrel race, stockman’s race, Buluk ribbon pull, wild horse-riding challenge, wild horse race and the rodeo challenge.

Heat competitions took place on Saturday with finals on Sunday.

The Port Vila Rodeo organizing committee member, Claire Moloney said over 60 riders participated this year with few riders coming from Santo as well.

Ms Moloney acknowledged all major sponsors and all sponsors for their assistance towards this year’s successful event.

A lot of fun games took place in between challenges as well. The official closing ceremony took place on Sunday.
