67 people have participated in the Vodafone Bike Race which took place last Saturday.

They participated in two categories Mountain bike race and BMX race.

The race started at 11am at the Devil’s Point Rally track.

The BMX bikes have traveled 5km inside the rally track and the mountain bikes 15km starting from the rally track and they went outside the circuit and get through the Devil’s Point plantation before ending back to the rally track.

The 2021 Vodafone BMX bike first place winner is François Ephraim, the second place winner is Kares John and third was David Pattison.

The first prize of Vodafone mountain bike winner goes to Didier Maucotel, the second place winner was Bonke Antonie and the third place goes to D. Joel.

The BMX race first place winner François Ephraim enjoyed the race because the rally track was in condition during their race.

“I think this year we are fortunate to compete on a beautiful place. I am glad the weather was shinny and the road are in good conditions”, he said.

The 22 years old BMX Freestyle amateur François had participated two times on Vodafone bike race and Mountain bike race. He also loves to play Freestyle competitions but unfortunately there is not freestyle competition in Vanuatu.
