La Magistrates' Court a ajourné hier le procès du Président du Parlement, le député Simeon Seule à jeudi.
Le président Seule sera jugé après avoir plaidé non coupable à cinq chefs d'accusation de voies de fait devant la Magistrates' Court le mois dernier.
Mariel Noelle Patterson, de Hudson and Co, remplace maintenant l'avocat Andrew Bal.
M. Seule a plaidé non coupable d'un chef d'accusation de dommages malveillants aux biens, en violation de l'article 133 de la loi sur le Code pénal [chap. 135].
Il a nié un chef d'accusation de voies de fait intentionnelles en violation de l'alinéa 107 b), un chef d'accusation de 107 a), un chef d'accusation supplémentaire de tentative d'enlèvement intentionnel contre les articles 28 et 105.
Il a également plaidé non coupable d'un chef d'accusation de tentative de voies de fait intentionnelles, contrairement aux articles 28 et 107 b) du Code pénal.
Le procès devrait prendre trois jours.
