The price of bread recently increased by VT10 from another bakery last week. There is no price ceiling for bread, nor is there a price ceiling for a lot of goods sold in supermarkets. When the second bakery increased their price of bread it created a balance in the market and in most countries that action is known as collusion and readers, it is illegal, however not in Vanuatu.

I searched for a Consumer Act that protects us consumers from these unethical practices, and we don’t have that either.
