Dear Editor,

Reading yesterday’s issue of the Daily Post (Tuesday 19th), questions spring to mind.

Firstly, who owns the Convention Center? Was it donated by the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Vanuatu? And if so, why is the Republic of Vanuatu through the MOH paying Vt98,000 per day for such a vital health initiative, COVID vaccinations?

Why has the vaccination program been forced out? VT6M unpaid rent we have been told. Why has the vaccination program been delayed due to rain? Why are the good people of Vanuatu now forced to get vaccinated in muddy tents? What is China Aid? Are other China Aid projects conditional like the Convention Center?
