Dear Editor,

This news about the interference by the prime minister in the police mutiny case is worrying if it is true.

I am not sure about the powers of the prime minister at this stage but if it is true then we should all hear why this is so.

The police mess has been there for a while and there are allegations that people bribe police to do their job for them, especially expats.

If this is true then it shows the police are being paid poorly, which is why they accept bribes.

Time to look at increasing the salaries to match other government workers because they play an important role.

Otherwise, we need answers on this issue that has gone viral on social media.

Thankyu tumas!
