Dear Editor,

In response to the Vanuatu Intelligence Unit (FIU) statement published in the Daily Post Newspaper front page issue No.6315 Tuesday this 13th July 2021, regarding the operations of the ‘Bless to be Blessed’ Financial Scheme, the Management of the Scheme wish to make the following statement:

The Financial Scheme is not a Ponzi scheme as labelled by the FIU.

The Scheme is a genuine Financial Scheme with the vision to provide financial assistance to the people of Vanuatu who are struggling each day to meet the financial needs of their families as the country and the world face financial difficulties resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Management of the Financial Scheme confirmed it had meetings with officials from both the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and the Reserve Bank of Vanuatu (RBV) and will issue further statement on the outcome in the coming days.

The Management of the Scheme wish to assure the members of the Scheme and the people of Vanuatu that it will resume operations shortly.

The members and the people of Vanuatu will be duly informed of this shortly.
