RMS advices works program and road closures

The new Freswota Intersection, part of the PVUDP

Port Vila Urban Development Project (PVUDP) Contractor, RMS is advising its partners and stake holders, including road users of the following road works, road closures and traffic movement beginning this weekend Sunday 28/01/18 to Saturday 03/02/18, as follows:

Sunday, 28/01/18 (3.00 pm to 8.00 pm) — Road closures between Smet Intersection and Manples. Sealing works will be taking place on that stretch of road.

Sunday, 28/01/18 to Friday, 02/02/18 (Nightshift) — Shoulder closures for nightshift pavement cleanup in preparation for road sealing from Manples Intersection to European Corner.

Sunday, 28/01/18 to Friday, 02/02/18 (Nightshift) — Shoulders closures and partial road closures from Colladeau French School to Tropical Roundabout for pavement cleanup in preparation for sealing.

Monday, 29/01/18 to Saturday, 03/02/18 (Dayshift) — Shoulder Closures only from Collardeau French School to ABM2 for general construction activities.

Tuesday, 30/01/18, Morning, (6.00 am — 7.00 am) — Partial road closure at the new Freshwota-1 Roundabout to pour concrete for the construction of footpath in front of Intraco.

Tuesday, 30/01/18, & Wednesday, 31/01/18 (Dayshift) — Shoulder closures between Trade Base and Computer World on Walter Lini Highway for the construction of a Bus Bay.

RMS Vanuatu Community Liaison Officer George Tambe is urging people to drive with care when passing these work sites and to please obey traffic controllers.
