Prime Minister Joe Natuman will be leaving this weekend for Tanna for an official 5-day visit to his constituency in the southern province.
Since taking office May this year, this will be the second visit to Tanna for Natuman who is the first ever Prime Minister to yield from the Tanna Constituency.
This time however, he is visiting as an MP for the constituency.
On Tanna the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit village communities, schools and churches between November 8 to 12.
The Prime Minister and his delegation will be staying in Lenakel during the visit but will be visiting Lamtavekel, Whitesands, Waisisi, Yarkei, Latakran, Lowun, Naura-ne, Tuhu School, and Lounelpen.
During such visit political leaders are expected to meet with their supporters and voter and most of the time handing out donations and assistance.
The Prime Minister is one of the longest serving Vanuaku Pati Member of Parliament for the constituency and has never lost his seat since first elected.
A long time politician from the constituency, he was also the secretary to Vanuatu's first Prime Minister in 1980.
The Prime Minister and his delegation are expected to be back in Port Vila by Wednesday morning next week.
