The new Minister for Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Don Ken, calls on all Airport Vanuatu Limited (AVL) staff to continue with the good work they are doing and humbly called on them, to allow him time as he is preparing to meet with them next week, to reach amicable solutions to their outstanding staff issues.

Speaking through his newly appointed Private Secretary, Daniel Molisa, Minister Don Ken vowed to find lasting solutions to the issues confronting the staff in a meeting he will call next week.

In short remarks to the Daily Post yesterday morning, Molisa said the newly appointed Infrastructure and Public Utilities Minister has vowed to get things sorted out.

“The Minister puts the interest of the nation first. He wants to ensure services delivery in all areas under his portfolio reach the population of Vanuatu as needed,” said Molisa.

“The minister intends to hold the meeting with them after his quick visit to Pentecost, Ambae and Santo, in his capacity as the minister responsible for Infrastructure and Public Utilities,” Molisa said.

Mr Ken appointed Molisa to the position of the Ministry’s Private Secretary yesterday morning.
