Kiwanis was proud to present two sewing machines to VPride Foundation recently.
VPride Foundation is a Vanuatu community-based Non-Government Organisation founded in 2007 to help educate, advocate and mobilise around diverse Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Expression and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC).
The sewing machines will help the organisation’s members in putting together their creations for the organisation’s annual Runway Fashion Show on Saturday, 2nd of October.
The Runway Fashion Show aims to promote local talents, to showcase creative cultural designs and celebrate the authenticity and uniqueness of Vanuatu’s Fashion and Artistry Ambassadors.
After the Show, VPride will use the sewing machines to assist other organisations with preparations for performances or for fundraising activities.
This donation continues with the great work of the Kiwanis Threads Across the Pacific program.
