Drivers in Port Vila are urged to be informed that the intersection at Freshwater is changing in late September 2017 to become proper roundabout like Dumbea.
The Urban Roads and Drainage Phase 1 Contractor, RMS, is currently working to construct changes at Freshwater Intersection in front of Intraco and Switched on Services.
This intersection will be under heavy construction for approximately 3 weeks and will remain open to traffic during that period. When completed we will have a proper roundabout in that location.
The government of Vanuatu in partnership with the Australian government and Asian Development Bank (ADB) are funding Port Vila Urban Development Project (PVUDP) in order to improve Port Vila’s roads, drainage, sanitation infrastructure and services.
