Joe Nare Mete to release new DVD tomorrow

Popular musician Joe Nare Mete of Erromango will be releasing his new DVD tomorrow at the Market House in Port Vila.

This is his first DVD production and it features all the nine songs in his “Tanna Evergreen Resort” compilation released in July this year including’ Solwora Juju’ and ‘My Sweetheart’ and two bonus titles, which are his popular hit songs ‘Lake Manaro’ and ‘Daniella’.

This DVD is a must for local music lovers and those fans of Joe Nare Mete who might be waiting to see him actually singing their favorite song. And you can pick up a copy for only Vt2000.

Joe Nare Mete began is music career in 1994 and recorded his first album titled Remember the Children in 1997, which included his favorite song ‘Daniela’. His second release was in 1999 recorded at Vantrax Studio with the help of veteran musician Tim Kalmet. In 2000 he recorded his third album titled ‘Nevsem Peace’ that featured a compilation with Naio Band front man Gero, resulted in the now famous song ‘Lake Manaro’.

In 2007, he released his fourth album titled ‘First Love’ and in March this year, he recorded his fifth production at Harvest Studio titled ‘Tanna Evergreen Resort’ released in July.

Tomorrow, Joe Nare Mete will release his first DVD production that has in it 11 songs altogether.
