The additional 80,000 doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine from China are expected to arrive tomorrow (Sunday).
When conveying this recently, the Acting Director General (DG) of the Ministry (MOH), Dr. Posikai Samuel Tapo, said these vaccines will be used for the vaccination rollout in each provinces.
This would be the second batch of COVID-19 vaccine from China.
The first 20,000 Sinopharm doses arrived in June this year, a month after it was listed for emergency use by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
China is expected to provide the additional 80, 000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine with 80,000 disposal syringes.
