The Commissioner of Police, Arthur Caulton, has dismissed speculation that Vanuatu is the number one “source country” for cocaine.
He said he is aware of the information widely circulated but said it has no substance and is false.
In a telephone interview with Daily Post yesterday Police Commissioner Caulton said: “Vanuatu does not have a record as the crossroad for cocaine. In fact it’s rumours and unless whoever speculates on this can come up with substantial facts, I can assure the government and the people of Vanuatu that this country is not No.1 nest for the hard drug cocaine,” Caulton told Daily Post.
