Tok Tok Vanuatu 2012 targets Santo and Tanna

“The Vanuatu Tourism and the Tok Tok Organising Committee are committed to giving you a memoriable experience and an opportunity to build new business partnership and network during your four days with Tok Tok Vanuatu either in Santo, Tanna or Efate.”

The encouraging statement was made by the General Manager of the National Tourism Office, Linda Kalpoi in her welcome address to the tourist destination professionals attending the Tok Tok Vanuatu 2012 in Santo, Tanna and Efate this week.

Tok Tok Vanuatu 2012 has moved away from its traditional booth style setting in Port Vila and spread its wings after its first eleven years, to set up in the two tourist destinations of Santo and Tanna this year.

In her message to participating tourist destination professionals, the General Manager of NTO explained that Vanuatu is an exciting destination and Tok Tok Vanuatu is the country’s signature annual event to showcase Vanuatu Tourism’s Unique Variety of Products saying there is so much to see and do.

She said, “At the beginning of a new decade for Tok Tok Vanuatu we have marked this with the inaugural new concept of Tok Tok moving away from the normal booth style meetings to being out and about on a mega family providing a variety of options for you to experience and ‘Discover What Matters in Vanuatu’.

“We hope this would be an exciting experience that will allow you to effectively and efficiently package and sell Vanuatu as an exotic destination with great experience rather than just a product of another destination in the South Pacific”.

The highly success four days of Tok Tok will end with an official dinner for all invited guests at the Holiday Inn on August 31.
