TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A Subscription to the Daily Post is based on Your acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

In these terms and conditions:
"Daily Post", "we" or "us" means The Trading Post Limited, publisher of the Daily Post newspaper.
"Subscriber", "Customer" or "You" means a person who is a subscriber to the Daily Post.
A "Subscription" means a standard fully paid Daily Post subscription taken up directly with Daily Post, and for which these terms and conditions apply. Subscriptions are to be made by a fixed term Subscription where the full payment is made by you upfront.
2. DELIVERY AREA
2.1 Subscriptions (hard copy) are valid in Port Vila where normal delivery exists. For information on delivery outside of these areas, please call Daily Post Customer Service. An additional delivery fee may be incurred by Customers for delivery to overseas or in areas outside normal delivery. Delivery to addresses within security apartments or office buildings is subject to delivery capability. A Subscription may be discontinued with notice to the Customer (with a pro-rata refund) where distribution services cease to be available.
2.2 Subscriptions (digital) are valid to overseas email address only, no ‘gmail’ or ‘hotmail’ address allowed and security will be in place to prevent digital copies being circulated.
3. FEES AND CHARGES
3.1 Prices quoted for Subscriptions are VAT inclusive.
3.2 Subscriptions - the full, fixed term payment is due upfront and are payable by cheque or credit card. At the end of the Subscription term You may contact Daily Post Customer Service in order to renew your Subscription.
4.1 Subscriptions - a cancellation fee may apply to Subscriptions cancelled prior to expiry of the applicable term. This is due to administration costs incurred in processing a cancellation. A pro-rata refund will be provided, less the cancellation fee imposed. -Vt2,000 . No refund is given to Customers on short-term trial Subscriptions, including four (4) and ten (10) week trial Subscriptions. No refund is provided on Subscriptions cancelled within 2 months of the expiry date.
4.2 In the event of a cancellation of your Subscription by You or Daily Post as a result of ongoing major delivery problems or non-delivery within your area (being Port Vila only), no cancellation fee will apply.
5. MANAGING SUBSCRIPTIONS
5.1 If at any point You wish to have your newspaper redirected to a new address within Port Vila, or You wish to temporarily suspend your Subscription, You will need to contact Daily Post Customer Service. Your Subscription delivery details can be changed, or Your Subscription temporarily suspended, by giving Daily Post at least 2 business days' notice. A temporary re-direction of your Subscription to a new address is permitted only for re-directions of 7 days or more.
5.2 To suspend your Subscription, You will need to tell us the date that You want to suspend your Subscription from, and also the date that you would like your Subscription to restart. If you fail to provide a restart date, and fail to restart your subscription within 60 days following its suspension, we may cancel [or restart] your subscription with or without notice to you. You will be permitted to suspend your Subscription on no more than 12 occasions in a calendar year, for a maximum period of 60 days on each occasion. The exact number of days that your Subscription is temporarily suspended will be credited to the end of your Subscription.
6.1 You agree that your name, address, email address and telephone number will be collected and stored by the Daily Post and used for the purposes of fulfilling Your Subscription, communicating with You about renewing Your Subscription and to notify You of any associated Customer offers or benefits or future subscriptions, unless otherwise notified by You.
7. SUBSCRIBER BENEFITS PROGRAM
7.1 As a Subscriber, You may be eligible to participate in the DP Subscriber Benefits Program. The Terms and Conditions for this program are available at www.dailypost.vu/benefits
8. WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMERS
8.1 You agree that any errors made in entering the contact information and order details are Your responsibility and the Daily Post is not liable for any consequences that may arise as a result of such errors or incorrect information, including but not limited to sending the Subscription to the address as notified by You. If You change your address or any other relevant details or do not receive your Subscription, You should notify the Daily Post by calling the Daily Post Customer Service.
8.2 The Daily Post is not liable to You for any loss or damage incurred by You arising out of your Subscription, whether direct, consequential, special, indirect or other loss or damage. In any event, the Daily Post's maximum liability to You is limited to the value of the Subscription fees paid within the previous twelve months
9.1 You acknowledge and agree that You are entitled to purchase a Subscription from the Daily Post for personal use only. You agree and acknowledge that Subscriptions cannot be exploited for any commercial purpose, including on-selling Your Subscription to any third party. Despite this, the Daily Post may, at its sole discretion, offer multiple copy subscriptions to certain organisations. Such corporate subscriptions can be arranged by contacting the Daily Post Customer Service directly.
9.2 You agree that all Subscriptions provided, benefits accepted or offers made by the Daily Post shall be deemed to be provided in Vanuatu, notwithstanding your location, and the terms of such shall be governed exclusively by Vanuatu law, and the Courts of Vanuatu shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any such matters that may arise involving or alleged to involve Vanuatu.
9.3 You acknowledge that these Subscription Terms and Conditions may be modified by the Daily Post from time to time, and agree that You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Subscription Terms and Conditions, and You agree to any such modification.
9.4 From time to time the Daily Post offers promotional items with its newspapers. The Daily Post does not guarantee that newspapers delivered to Subscribers will include these items. From time to time, these items will be available for collection at a newsagency or the Daily Post's offices. At its discretion the Daily Post will communicate with its subscribers about the availability of such items.
9.5 The Daily Post reserves the right to suspend or cancel your Subscription at any time in its absolute discretion, provided that the Daily Post gives You written notice of such suspension or cancellation and, in the event that the Daily Post cancels your Subscription, you will receive a pro-rata refund for the outstanding portion of your Subscription.
