Over 100 RSE workers to swap charter flight this Friday
More than 100 Recognize Seasonal Employer returnees are expected to touch down at the Bauerfield International Airport this Friday in a chartered flight that will return with 140 fresh workers.
The Department of Labour through its Employment Services Unit (ESU) and Seasonal Solutions Co-operative Limited are organizing a function to welcome the flight which Daily Post understands is the second of its kind.
New Zealand High Commissioner, Bill Dobbie, Labour Commissioner, Lionel Kalwat who is also Internal Affairs Acting DG will be joining invited guests at the airport this Friday.
Vanuatu and New Zealand recently celebrated the 5th anniversary of the scheme the success and achievements Vanuatu workers have achieved in New Zealand farms since the launching of the RSE in 2007.
The chartered flight is expected to arrive in Port Vila at 10.15 in the morning and will be departing at around 11.30am.
