All the positions were occupied by mostly young people. The VP strength especially under the leadership of Harry Iauko is very strong at Hog Harbour Village. The subcommittee formed was to keep the VP’s hope alive and maintained its position until the general election.
The subcommittees were confident enough that they will secure one seat out from the Hog Harbour community. The VP supporters of Hog Harbour wish to work one for this coming general election especially under the Vanua’aku Party which is one of the long time political parties since independence.
The subcommittee will work together with the current acting coordinator to make sure Vanua’aku Party stands out again in the coming election.
