o Mi Harem Se that the VAT office are being totally counter productive in how they are conducting their audit and are disallowing invoices that do not say “ TAX INVOICE” but only “ INVOICE”  even though everything else is OK.  The suppliers issuing the invoices are redoing the invoices, the businesses that were audited have now complied but hours have been wasted. The VAT office have not been able to charge more VAT. The only thing this has achieved is to waste time and resources by being pedantic. Their pedantic nature lost this country a viable and important employer in Recyclecorp. Now they are turning their sights on others. Who is safe?? Surely someone in the VAT office can used a bit of common sense and realise that it is the TAX payer who pays their salaries and that they are public servants (ie people who serve the public), not obstructing bureaucrats who are on a power trip.
