- Mi harem se Origin have brought over specialists from Australia to find out what happened with the nasty gas explosion that has claimed two Ni Vanuatu lives. Concerns have been raised to Origin that the gas on the premises had little or no smell which caused the three people not to suspect the room was full of gas as gas is heavier than air and sinks. It needs odour to be added to mix with the air to warn people of a leak. That reportedly didn’t happen so when David was on the floor searching for a leak, the gas allegedly hit him and he became unsteady and accidently knocked the gas ignition switch. There needs to be some education on dangers of gas to Ni Vanuatu as many have has bottles inside their home instead of outside. Silip!
- Mi harem se a new sales manager at Le lagon has made a bit of a faux pas promoting an email sales spam with a subject heading ‘White Knight Beach Party with the theme strictly ‘white’. Does this mean anything black will not get in unless presumably wearing a white pointy hat? Don’t they know that the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan was considered the most militant as well as the most violent Ku Klux Klan in history. Having a White Knight beach party with the theme being white is just asking for flak in this country. Wonder if any Ni Vans will turn up in KKK fancy dress? Silip!

Not only have you got to travel to PNG to be interviewed for a US visa at a cost of a couple of thousand dfollars in airfares and hotel bills but they have now put the price of a visa up to US $140 to US$160 for persons applying for a Tourist Visa, Business Visa, Transit Visa, Crew Member Visa, Student Visa, Exchange Visitor Visa, and Journalist Visas. Why can’t VISA applications from Vanuatu be done through Fiji as it is on the way to the USA? Silip!

- Mi harem se work will start soon on the ADB funded and much needed improved drainage system for our main roads in Vila as poor drainage is damaging the roads and creating major problems during rain. What the public and public transport owners want to know is whether money will be spent on the actual roads themselves. Silip!
- Mi harem se forward booking for ACP are only around 100 rooms when they were expecting 500-600 rooms. It is not far away now. It unfortunately looks like it could be a poor turnout unless there is a huge last minute rush. Organisers are hoping that is the case. Silip!
- Mi harem se how is the government going to raise an additional vt6 billion to cover a proposed increase in budget from vt14-20 billion. That is a huge increase in taxes unless they are expecting a windfall as a result of ACP or assistance.Silip!
