Mele Bulls Junior and Senior Dominate Barrett & Partners Championship

Cricket

The Barrett & Partners Under 17 Club Championship match between Ifira versus Mele Bulls on Saturday 23rd June 2012 created a lot of excitement. Having won the toss, Ifira decided to bat. Ifira team open their innings with opening batsman Naling Nipiko and Clement Tommy. Unfortunately after a great setup by Mele Bulls’s bowler Malon Tastuki, Naling was dismissed early from a pull shot. Although Ifira lost their early first wicket they recovered as next batsman Jonnah Todah joined Clement and both created a partnership of 40 runs.
