The second week of February saw Wan Smolbag youth centre open its clubs. The response has been phenomenal with classes such as literacy and cooking having 50 or more participants.

Venue for Public consultation on Bellevue chicken farm changed

School land for housing - or what?

Custom owners and residents of the Second Lagoon are meeting to decide what action they should take over the changed land usage at Vila City College.
Until late last year the area was Reserved for Education. Vila City College provided places for 350 students on the main road between rapidly expanding population centres (Etas, Teouma, Teouma Ville and Rentabao) and the town. The private school functioned over a number of years from 2002 / 3 having been granted a mortgage of VT 33 million from the National Bank of Vanuatu.

Australian Aid to Police acknowledged

The Vanuatu Australian Police Project (VAPP) has been a very helpful and willingly aiding the Vanuatu Police Force throughout the past years of its establishment until today.
