Biggest UMP congress opens on Efate

There’s no Union of Moderate Parties congress as huge with soaring number of supporters that have defected from other parties than this 24th Congress at Eratap, on Efate.

Party President, 57-year-old Rialuth Serge Vohor, who has held the reins of control in the UMP since 1988, told Daily Post in an exclusive interview Monday.

“We have eliminated the elements of hypocrisy and selfishness within the UMP hierarchy and see how the party has progressed in numbers. In some regions (political) there are virtually no other parties because everyone has joined UMP,” Vohor said.
