The Little Flea – A Big Deal

Veterinarian Dr Ed Forgham-Bailey gives advice and information about one small creature that can cause big problems for your pet.
Everyone has seen their dog twisting round in the middle of the room to have a good chew on themselves, or in that awkward position; hind leg in the air trying to scratch that itch. But what if this is more than just the occasional observation? Cats on the other hand you might not see them scratch, instead they could be licking their coat obsessively, usually in private, and before you know it there are unexplained bald and raw patches of skin.

Late Lini always determined to succeed: Kilman

“There is something stronger than determination in someone who always wants to succeed and this was the case with the late Father Walter H. Lini,” the Vanuatu Prime Minister Santo Kilman said of the leadership in a nation during the Lini Memorial Day.

While reminding the people of Vanuatu to look back at the leadership quality that one of the founding fathers of Vanuatu had in him, the current Prime Minister said such leaders are not just appointed by people but by God.

“The Vanuatu Institute of Technology has completed ten years of service to the students, the community, and our country as a whole under the VIT Act.

Mi Harem Se...

o Mi harem se a strange elderly and stark naked man was seen holding a stick and inside the gates of Intraco in the early hours of Lini Day. How could such an old man scale a large fence and get inside the locked grounds? He was checked at the hospital and was OK. He is reportedly a kleva from Malo and the word on the street was that he had flown in and somehow got stuck stark naked inside a locked fence with people wondering who he was and why he was there. All very strange. Silip!

Homosexuality

Dear Editor,

I had not planned to deign Mr Aru and others with a further response however after reading the lies and misrepresentations that they have come back with I felt a further letter from me was warranted:

1) A writers views reflect their values EXCEPT where they show they are representing an institution which is the way Mr Aru's by-line appears. As these views are obviously NOT those of the Australian National University Mr Aru should issue a public apology for the misrepresentation.

The ring road

Dear Editor,

Last week we read about a "proposed ring road" in Port Vila. Granted we need some solution to the congestion but what about the REAL ring road.
