Dear Editor,

Vanuatu demands Vt3 billion from China

Dear Editor,

I am continuously amused by MP Alfred Carlot and his antics in our people's high office of the Foreign Affairs. It is well understood that Vanuatu heavily depends on generous aid donors for projects and the like and China's one of them.

China has now been "demanded" to inject funds into the government budget, what next....pay salaries??

Does this mean China have a say in the running of our beloved country, which the founding fathers including Mr Donald Kalpokas have sacrificed a lot for?
I sincerely hope not!!

How has the Vanuatu Budget been spent?
