Re: Proposed incinerator project for Efate

Dear Editor,

Thanks to the informational articles published in the Vanuatu Daily Post, we believe that word is finally getting out about the giant incinerator that is being proposed for construction at the Stella Mare subdivision near the Second Lagoon. We are encouraged to learn that the Environment Department has extended the comment period on the Environmental Impact Assessment that was completed for the incinerator project - which now means that the people can read the document and submit their comments up through June 30, 2011.

Hopefully you have had a better understanding of what to expect and have decided on your future. You’ve probably already started making some contingency plans for next year 2012.

Always something about Iauko in the paper

Dear Editor,

It comes to my attention that in every Daily Post paper published nowadays, there is always something about Mr Iauko.
Why is that?

Was the beating of Mr Marc Neil-Jones really bad?

Has he got a broken Bone?

The late John Bule which was more serious, never in your paper you keep publishing it.  Is Mark Neil Jones a Natapei die hard?

Did MSG trade agreement cause the shortfall in revenue collection?
