On Saturday the Pacific Oceania (PO) Davis Cup team attended the draw of the tie with Thailand that began yesterday afternoon which saw Pacific Oceania number 1 player Michael Leong will take on Thailand’s number 2 left handed Peerakiat at 4pm local time followed by Pacific Oceania number 2 player Cyril Jacobe from Vanuatu, and he will play Thailand’s number 1 player Kittipong.
The matches are going to be best of 5 sets and it will be tough for the Pacific Islanders as the local crowd is expected to be huge and very noisy.
However, the PO team has worked hard to come here and will look to putting on a very good fight on the court.
